Born in Brooklyn, NY, raised between Jersey City, NJ, Dominican Republic, and  Los Angeles, Giovanny Blanco makes things happen. This creative musician and filmmaker has kept busy in front of, and behind the camera, and on and off stages all over the world. From being in the DR’s answer to Menudo (Mermelada) in the 80’s to his current musical projects (The High Revival, an Americana band with soul and blues roots, to The Dirty Lowdown, a cover band specializing in smoothest of 70’s and 80’s songs. Along the way, he was involved in Latin Alternative projects (Viva Malpache, Spigga, Shu-Sho, El Quickie, Bandabarata, and more) and making his own Films (Cornelius and The Last Intervention) and working on Movies, TV, and Commercials  (WB, Netflix, Hulu, LATV, Univision, and others).
